This is the height of privacy breach. Naked Images of more than 100 celebs hacked from their Apple iCloud Account and they were uploaded to the internet without their notice. This is the biggest hack in terms of Privacy after WikiLeaks. We're writing to tell you all the things you need to know about the new iCloud hack and how the Anonymous hacker hacked the Celeb's lives.
The recent privacy breach is one of the biggest privacy breach in the history of World Wide Web and it will be not stop until and unless any severe actions are taken. In these past few years, some serious hacks like the WikiLeaks, the Open SSL Heartbleed Bug took place but these didn't affect the people's personal lives. Even tough we have seen some hacks like hacking Justin Bieber's Twitter account and posting something unusual about JB, but it was a normal issue compared to this so called 'iCloud Celebs Hack'.
WHO IS BEHIND IT ?
An Anonymous Hacker, using a name 'Tristan', did the scandal on Sunday after posting hundreds of Naked Images of Female Celebrities on the online web forum 4chan. 4chan is an online web forum where users can add and share their pictures with the other forum members. Although the Naked Images have been removed from the forum, but they are still available on the internet because on the Internet, things are written with Ink and not with a pencil (LOL).
Almost 100+ celebs were affected from this. The name list is very long but some famous celebs include
- Jenny McCarthy (@JennyMcCarthy)
- Rihanna (@rihanna)
- Kristen Dunst (@kristendunst)
- Kate Upton (@kateupton)
- Mary E. Winstead (@M_E_Winstead)
- and the Oscar Winner Jennifer Lawrence.
HOW ALL THIS BEGAN ?
The Anonymous hacker posted a statement before the hack,"they were going to bed because s*x was getting real." On Sunday evening, the hacker began posting the images to the 4chan website. Its is not accurate but the hacker posted almost 423 nude pictures of more than 100 female celebs.
Within few hours, Twitter and other the internet websites flooded with the news of the privacy breach. This hack made a number 1 trend on Twitter. The images of Brits Michelle Keegan, Cara Delevigne, Cat Deeley and Kelly Brook are also said to be leaked on the internet.
CELEBS ADMITTED THAT PICS ARE REAL !
The Oscar Winner Actress Jennifer Lawrence and many other celebrities have admitted that the Leaked Pics are real, while some others avoided the media and said that those pics are fake.
Jennifer Lawrence's Manager previously reported that Lawrence's photographs were stolen. He also added, "The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photographs of Jennifer Lawrence."
THE HACKER'S RESPONSE ON THIS ACT
The Hacker responded on the 4chan forum that,"in this conspiracy more than one individuals are involved." He further stated that
"Guys just to let you know I don;t do this by
myself. There are several other people who
were in on it and I needed to count on to make
this happened. This is the result of several months
of long and hard work by all involved.
We appreciate your donations and applaud your
excitement. I will soon be moving to another
location from which I will continue to post."
NO RESPONSE FROM APPLE
Apple has declined to comment. It is not yet confirmed that iCloud was involved in the leak or not. The hack is said to be using the "Brute Force" and "Social Engineering" techniques. The account on iCloud can be alternatively used by resetting the user's account password by finding their e-mail and answering a 'traditional security question'.
