WhatsApp to be updated with Voice Calling Feature

WhatsApp, the most used messaging app by people is going to get another fantastic update. The new update will contain Voice Calling Feature which will let users Call their friends in Real Time without any additional charges.

This is similar to other VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) apps like Viber, Skype, Line etc. But getting this feature in WhatsApp is like a Christmas gift. Now you might be thinking how ? WhatsApp is used by 500 million people around the World and it supports almost all the Mobile OS platforms including Windows Phone, Android, iOS, and Symbian S60. And this will let you call every friend who is using WhatsApp.

Jan Koum, Co-Founder of WhatsApp has announced this in MWC 2014, Barcelona. But he has confirmed the news that WhatsApp will officially be updated with the feature soon.
Jan stated, "We're updating WhatsApp with this feature to help people communicate with their loved ones, no matter where they might be in the world. This feature will use less bandwidth and will help people make calls with low internet speed."
We haven't got the exact date of the update but we hope we'll get the update soon.
