Google Chrome Shortcuts and Tips

These small tricks and tips are necessary and we are sure they will save your valuable time. To improve your workflow Google has given us the chrome with full of shortcuts, tweaks and functions.

1) Accidentally closed all the tabs or any single tab? Well, you don’t need to go all again to search bar to get the results back.
     Just press Ctrl + shift + T to get back the tab, and if you lost multiple tabs then try this number of times so that you get all the missing tabs.

2) So many numbers of bookmarks that you can’t remember which one you want exactly? And all you do is open each of them separately. Well this is a tiring job.
Chrome has a solution for it.
     Press Ctrl + shift + B to open all the bookmarks.

3) Turn your browser into a notepad by pasting the following in the URL bar and hit the enter key.
     data:text/html,<htmlcontentedtable>

4) One must be annoyed when browser plays videos every single time you open any video site, Well Google got the solution for that too!
     Go to chrome://settings/content 
     Plug-ins will open and check the box of “click to play”.

5) You can hide the tab by middle clicking on it, so that you can concentrate on your working tab without interference.

6) Tired of closing each and every tab? Well in Google Chrome you can select tabs and close all of them at once.
     Shift + left click (To select the tabs to close)
     Ctrl + W (To close the selected tabs)

7) You can directly save any file from web to Google Drive without downloading it! Get “save to Google Drive” extension from the store.

8) By using Ctrl + numbers (1 to 9), you can jump from one tab to another.

9) You want to copy downloaded file onto desktop? Drag the file from downloads to the desktop.

10) “Google Dictionary Extension” is really helpful if you don’t understand some words while reading any article on the web. Just click on the word you don’t understand and the bubble will pop-up with the help.
