Facebook's Official App for iOS, Android and Windows Phone is Cool and works flawlessly but only on 3G+ or High Speed WiFi Networks. Users with 2G Network or Users residing in Slow Internet Speed Locations are not happy with the Official App.
So Facebook has released an App called "Lite" that works faster on 2G Networks. Also the App uses Less Data. So it will not burn a hole in your pocket if you are on a Limited Data Pack. Also the App just weighs 288 KiloBytes (KB). This will increase your SmartPhone's Battery Life because this app doesn't run in background.
